Traditions

From the past……..traditions of my people last…..for as long as the mountains stand, my people, my language, my home and my land……traditions are what keeps us strong, it’s tradition that is my peoples’ life song, echoing in the mountain canyons, carried along the cool mountain wind…….tradition is important for it tells me where my people have been….of things that were important - Sacred and Strong….the song echoes through the canyons, the tradition of my peoples’ songs.

Tradition is what is at risk, taken from those through greed, taken from those who forget the Sacred and only think of personal need.

The song of the flute, a song of long ago - as old as the mountains reminds us of what is gold. Not the gold of man’s greed, but the gold of which we are - the gold of the people, the tradition of the soul.

From shore to shore……mountain range to prairie, wooded lands to deserts…….the traditions are there forever, the People will See That It is So.
